Sweet Remembrances

This is the last photo I took of mom and dad together the day before dad's passing. I love how the sunlight is filtering through in the background and I remember the sound of the birds singing in the backyard as I took this photo. Their hands are placed exactly the same way they were on their wedding day, 50 years earlier.  Both pictures will be placed side by side at the funeral services on Saturday.

I will always have sweet remembrances of my parents when I look upon this photo of them together.
