The yard decorations are finished and it's time to start our
4th of July celebration.
This afternoon we will go to the local fireworks stand and purchase some goodies for Miss Sugar and Little Man to enjoy followed by an old fashioned carnival in the park.
Early on Saturday--I'm talking 7:15am people - we'll attend a flag raising ceremony followed by a pancake breakfast in the parking lot of our church. This is such a fun event - everyone comes to socialize and the committee goes all out with terrific decorations, a live band/orchestra and lots of good food.
Then it's on to our hometown parade. I just love a parade!
Then we'll head home for some relaxing on the porch and a BBQ in the backyard with family and friends.
At dusk we'll head over the to high school and watch fireworks on the lawn - Can't wait.
