Southern Love

Mr. CHiPy and I just returned from Dallas and the week before that I was in Alabama.  I enjoyed visiting both places but I'll have to confess that Alabama was my favorite and not just because it's where I'm from either.  I don't miss the humidity, but I sure miss the gorgeous oak trees with moss hanging from the branches.
and all of the gorgeous plantations and historic homes in Selma. 

It's a lovely and beautiful summer so far.
