A Gardener's Nemesis + a Surprise

I hate weeds.  I especially hate them in my summer garden beds.  I've been working my booty off clearing weeds from my little plot of earth.


Did I tell you how much I hate weeds?


I LOATHE them, actually.

But look what they were hiding beneath their ugliness...

...a small section of perennial strawberries.   Hey, I even found the plant marker from last year buried under the soil!  I'm doing the happy dance!

Now I need to finish removing all those weeds, preparing my soil and start planting.
