I L♥VE peanut butter and I L♥VE chocolate. Mix them together and I'm in heaven! You've got to try this fabulous tutorial from Crystal at A Pumpkin And A Princess.
In a large heavy bottom pot add 3 tbsp of oil and 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels and pop that corn.
In a medium pot add 2/3c of light corn syrup, 2/3c light brown sugar, 2 1/2 tbsp butter, and 1/2 tsp salt. Stir occasionally, bring to a boil then remove from heat.
Add 1/2 cup of peanut butter and 1tsp of vanilla extract
stir until you get a smooth consistency
Drizzle over popcorn, toss, and spread mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (coat your paper with cooking spay)
Bake at 250 for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool. Technically you could be done here but why not add some excitement to the mix?
Drizzle on melted peanut butter and milk chocolate chips, and than add peanut butter m&m's
Don't you just love peanut butter and chocolate together? This could easily be packaged up as a holiday gift for coworkers, friends, neighbors, etc.
Thanks for stopping by, have a fabulous week!
