Cranberry-Orange-Cream Cheese Bread

Oh, this is a good one. Easy and delicious.


Cranberry-Orange-Cream Cheese Bread

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease bottom of loaf pan. Combine all filling ingredients in a medium bowl, beat at medium speed until smooth.

Filling:
6 oz cream cheese
¼ c. sugar
1 egg

In a large bowl, combine the ingredients below for the bread, stir for 50 to 75 strokes until moistened.

Bread:
1- 15.6 oz package Cranberry quick bread mix (I used Cranberry orange)
¾ cup water
2 T oil
1 egg

Pour half of the bread batter into the greased pan. Next pour the cream cheese filling on top of the batter. Pour the remaining batter on top of the filling. To marble the cream cheese into the bread, pull a butter knife through the batter in wide curves. Turn the pan and repeat. Bake at 350o for 65 to 75 minutes. Cool 15 minutes and then remove the bread from the pan.  Chill until ready to eat.
