More Christmas Decorating at Mom's

The kitchen is the heart of Mom's home and the place where she has spent much of the past 37+ years cooking meals for her family. I miss this kitchen and the wonderful aroma's, the delicious food and especially my mom and dad.

Hi Dad!

Across from the breakfast bar is this beautiful antique hutch that displays family heirlooms. This season, it features the annual Lenox Christmas plates that my brother has purchased for her over the past years. They are simply stunning displayed this way. There are so many that mom ran out of display room. You can see them stacked there on the bottom shelf.

Then on the other side of the kitchen next to the table is this sweet little tree all decorated in silver and white which complements the new Waverly valances. The star is hammered tin and is so cute perched up there on top of the tree.

I came a across these cute snowman ornaments and decided that they were the finishing touch to the kitchen tree. Aren't they sweet!

One of these days I too will have a tree in practically every room.
